APOLLO Travel (00860) Announces Interim Results Loss attributable to shareholders of HK$343 million, an increase of 343.44% year-on-year

According to the Zhitong Finance App, APOLLO Travel (00860) announced interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2024. The group achieved revenue of HK$126 million during the period, a year-on-year decrease of 1.05%; losses attributable to shareholders were HK$343 million, an increase of 343.44% over the previous year; and a basic loss of HK$50.14 per share.

According to the announcement, the Group's gross profit was approximately HK$12.3 million during the current period, compared to approximately HK$21.8 million in the previous interim period. Gross margin decreased to about 9.8% during the current period (same period in 2023:17.1%), mainly due to a decrease in interest income from loan financing contributing to high gross margins.
