How can I Recharacterize my Roth IRA into a Traditional IRA?
How can I Recharacterize my Roth IRA into a Traditional IRA?

Roth IRA recharacterizations can be done by filling out the ROTH IRA Distribution Form and selecting the Recharacterization. This can be performed for a prior year, if the tax deadline has not passed, or for the current tax year.   Both cash and securities can be recharacterized by filling out the NIA and Gross Distribution fields.  If you are recharacterizing securities, please fill out the Distribution of Securities Section on page 2, and have the NIA of those securities based on their closing price from the day prior.  Delivery Instructions would be “To the Following Apex Account” and would be your Traditional IRA account number here at Webull.

Please review the attached document on how to complete the Roth Distribution form for a recharacterization. When completed, please send to us at IRA@Webull.com
